Annabelle W. Reilly, 91, of Washington, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, in South Hills Wellness and Rehabilitation, Canonsburg.
She was born June 5, 1925, in Chartiers Township, a daughter of Stanley C. Wilson and Helen Johnston Wilson.
Mrs. Reilly graduated from Washington High School in 1943 and attended Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to working at Kmart for 10 years, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Mayview and as a Notary Public.
She was a member of Friendship Community Church.
On March 21, 1956, she married Sgt. First Class James J. Reilly, Jr. She became a Gold Star Wife when he was killed in action in Vietnam on October 10, 1965.
Surviving are two sons, William “Larry” (JoAnn) Reilly of Washington and David John (Becky) Reilly of Washington; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Paula Markley; a grandson, Michael Markley; and two sisters, Ella Maude Wilson and Bertha Grace Sprowls.
Friends will be received from 4 till 8 p.m. on Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 9th, with Rev. Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
