Elizabeth Petrisek

Elizabeth Petrisek, 99, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in her home. She was born January 16, 1918, in Marianna, a daughter of John Demko and Susie Puchan Demko. A homemaker, Mrs. Petrisek adored all animals and enjoyed canning, cooking, and gardening. She was Catholic by faith. Her husband, Edgar Petrisek, died January 28, 2015. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Edgar and Jean Petrisek of Pittsburgh, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., the time of service, on Sunday, March 5th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.  Burial will be private in Washington Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
