Patricia Ann Rodgers

Patricia Ann Rodgers, 68 of Washington, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at home. She was born July 19, 1948 in Washington, the son of Clara Clemens Kennedy of Southview and the late Ralph Kennedy. Patricia was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School and Penn Commercial, where she studied accounting. Patricia was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting, listening to Danny O’Donnell and spending time with her granddaughter and taking care of her family. On May 19, 1979, she married John Rodgers, who died January 22, 1994. Surviving are two sons, John (M.J.) Rodgers of Washington and Michael Rodgers of Washington; four sisters, Nancy (Kenneth) McElhaney of Southview, Janet (Jeffrey) Carter of Sun City West, AZ, Peggy Andrews of Washington, Amy (Michael) Bongiorni of Southview; four grandchildren, Raegan, Belva, Natalia and Natasha Rodgers; several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Gary Kennedy and a sister, Clara Jane Goughenour. Friends will be received Friday, March 3, 2017 from 11 to 2 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington with Pastor Michael Singo officiating. Burial will follow at North Buffalo Cemetery.
