Glenn R. Garbart

  Glenn Robert Garbart, 79, of Bridgeville, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, in Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Mt. Lebanon.   He was born September 11, 1937, in Washington, a son of the late Charles Garbart and Wilma McVay Mack.   A graduate of Washington High School, Mr. Garbart worked at Jessop Steel for 40 years, retiring as a melter.   He enjoyed golfing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.  He loved his best friend, his dog Ginger.   On May 4, 2002, he married Gloria Adams, who survives.   Also surviving are two sons, Gregory Garbart of Washington and Glenn (Tina) Garbart of Apollo Beach, Florida; a grandchild, Jadyn Garbart; his stepfather, Raymond Mack; and cousins, Richard, Robert “Tuffy,” David, Lloyd and Jerry McVay, Patricia McVay Collavo, Sandra McVay Shannon, and Ronald and Edward Jackman.   Deceased is a brother, Arthur Garbart.   Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 3rd with Rev. Michael Lehman officiating.  Military rites will be accorded graveside by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
