Shirley Lou Santee, 84 of Washington, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Donnell House. She had been in declining health the past year. She was born November 1, 1932, in Bentleyville, the daughter of the late Herman Santee and Lula Bowser Santee. Shirley was a 1950 graduate of Bentleyville High School and attended Penn Commercial. She worked as a secretary for Columbia Gas Company for 47 years and never missed a day of work. Shirley was a member of Church of the Covenant and was formerly a volunteer at the Washington Hospital. She was very active at her church and enjoyed ice skating in her youth. She also loved dogs. Surviving are four sisters, June (Joe) Puskarich of Washington, Phyllis Santee of Cokesburg, Lee Sharpless of Millville, NJ, Gerry Wilman of Tamerac, FL; several nieces, nephews; several great nieces and nephews one great great niece and one great great nephew. Deceased in addition to her parents is a sister who died at birth, Norma Jean. Friends will be received Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. the time of service at William G.
