Patricia Baxter Haase, 87, of Washington, formerly of Farmington, PA, died on Sunday, February 19, 2017, in the Donnell House.
She was born on September 24, 1929, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Charles Henry and Alice McCartney Baxter.
Patricia was a 1947 graduate of Uniontown High School.
Mrs. Haase was formerly a member of First Lutheran Church, where she had been very active in the Women’s Circle and the choir. More recently, she belonged to Laboratory Presbyterian Church.
For thirty-one years, she worked as a receptionist for Econo Lodge.
She loved singing, and sang with the Sweet Adelines Four Times a Lady Quartet.
Mrs. Haase had once been a volunteer at YMCA, and was a member of the Washington Hospital Auxiliary, where she enjoyed volunteering her time to support the hospital.
Surviving are a son, Gary B. (Lois Tullis) Haase, of Washington; a daughter, Michelle H. (William) Grubbs, of Gibsonia; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Matthew Haase, and Alyson and Ashley Grubbs.
Deceased are three brothers, George, Charles and William Baxter, and a sister, Dorothy Gleason.
Friends will be received on Thursday, February 23, 2017, from 12 to 2 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, with Rev. Donna Johnson officiating.
