Marcella Mae Bennis

Marcella Mae Bennis, 87 of Waynesburg, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died February 11, 2017 at home. She was born April 27, 1929 in Washington the daughter of the late Walter John Moore and Pearl Wishart Moore. Marcella attended Trinity High School and worked as a home health aide for First Choice Health Care in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of Eastview Assembly of God Church in Waynesburg and was a member of the church care group, Heaven Bound Ministries and He’s Alive cast at Capital Theater. Marcella enjoyed bowling in leagues until recently and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are four sons, Earl “Russ” Day of Lake Wales, FL, Frank D. (Jennifer) Bennis of Madison Heights, MI, John (Tina) Bennis of Royal Oak, MI, Jay (Julie) Bennis of Heath, OH; three daughters, Rhoda (John) Dulany of Waynesburg, Karen (Delbert) Robinson of Gahanna, OH, Mary (Dan) Santry of Columbus, OH; a brother Charles (Jackie) Moore of Lone Pine; 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; many close friends and a wonderful church family. Deceased are three brothers, John, Francis and Walter Moore; two sisters, Mary Kirschner and Pearl, who died infancy. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
