Mildred Viola “Mitzi” Levato, 83, of Canonsburg, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, in Golden Living Center. She was born on March 27, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of the late Julia Garrett, and James Crumrine. Mitzi attended Washington High School. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and Full Gospel Assembly. Mrs. Levato worked at the Washington Glass Company, and volunteered as a Foster Grandparent, with the Foster Grandparent Program of Southwestern PA, and with the local Red Cross. She enjoyed bingo and traveling. Mitzi was the last of her immediate family. Surviving are three children, Samuel P. (Lisa) Levato, of Washington, Jody Levato, of Annapolis, MD, and Shawn (Caterina) Levato, of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Tiffany (Kenny) Bockstoce, Courtney (Frank) Zatta, Levi and Evan Levato, and Stephanie Ashmore; four great grandchildren, Ryan Bockstoce, Charlie Bockstoce, Brynn Zatta, and Bradley Zatta; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are a granddaughter, Stephanie Levato, five brothers, William “Bill” Garrett, Raymond Garrett, James “Jim” Garrett, Robert “Bob” Garrett, and Ronald “Happy” Garrett; and three sisters, Virginia Stewart, Mary Jane Garrett, and Betty Green. Friends will be received on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, February 11, 2017, with Pastor Craig Bellis officiating.
