Wilma Mae Ringer Wingrove

November 11, 1934 — February 6, 2017

Wilma Mae Ringer Wingrove, 82 of Washington, died Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Washington County Health Center. She was born November 11, 1934 in Washington, the third daughter, sixth child of the late Charles and Daisy V. Lindley Ringer. She worked at Brockway Glass and was a skilled fiber artist and her art surrounds her family. She loved her flower bed and her grandchildren waited every spring for her front yard to burst into color. She was a homemaker and the family historian. On August 27, 1957, she married David Ray Wingrove who survives. She loved being his wife most of all and was blessed with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, left to cherish her memories are a son, Ralph (Marsha) Wingrove of Indiana, PA; two daughters, Cindy (Rue) Strohecker and Barb (Herman) Padilla both of Washington; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren a brother, Melvin Ringer; a sister, Ethel Morris. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, infant, Charles, Jay and Norman; sisters, Catherine Hall, Eveleyn Shannor; a granddaughter, Madison Martin. Friends will be received Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
