Alice Marie Rhoades, 86, of Washington, died on Thursday, January 26, 2017, in the Donnell House.
She was born on May 25, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of the late Myles Elmer and Essie Leah Ketter Zimmerman.
Presbyterian by faith, Alice was a member of East Buffalo Presbyterian Church, and North Buffalo Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Rhoades enjoyed doing word search puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her dog, Suzy, and her cat, Oreo.
On January 9, 1952, she married Walter Lee Rhoades, who died on February 10, 2010.
Surviving are a son, Jason (Denise) Rhoades, of Prosperity; four daughters, Joyce (Daniel) Wright, of Washington, Edria (David) Ackley, of Prosperity, Timmie (Jason) Wright, of Washington, and Amy (Tom Ritchea) Armstrong, of Washington; thirteen grandchildren, Ronnie Lee and Eric Chenney, Joshua (Angela) and Jacob Campbell, Shawn (Traci) Haynos, Zachary Ackley, Marsha (Roger) Livingood, Michael (Teea), Donald and Bryan (Leah) Shook, Justina (Adam) Arena, Jerika Armstrong, and Cheyenne Rhoades; thirteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are several brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, with Pastors Gary Gibson and Linda Mankey co-officiating.
Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery
