Lois Pryor

  Lois Ann Pryor, 87, of Scenery Hill, formerly of Silver Creek, New York, died Sunday, January 15, 2017, in Donnell House.   She was born February 16, 1929, in Washington, the fourth child of 14 born to the late H. Leslie Gray and Edith Mae Harkins Gray.   A graduate of Trinity High School, Mrs. Pryor worked at Super Duper Grocery in Silver Creek, New York for two years and at Beverly Farms Ice Cream in Washington for 15 years.   She was a member of the Home Bureau of New York and TOPS.   She loved to entertain, spend time with family and friends, and crochet.   Mrs. Pryor was a Methodist by faith.   Her husband, Victor C. Pryor, Jr., died August 17, 1993.   Surviving are a daughter, Karen A. Shawver of Scenery Hill; three grandchildren, Leah (Eben) Haught, Anna Shawver and Laura (Charles) Miller; a great-grandchild, Levi Haught; brothers, Wayne H. (Donna) Gray of Titusville, Florida, Paul R. (Valerie) Gray of Dublin, Ohio, Daniel B. (Elsie) Gray of Duncan, Arizona and Dennis N. Gray of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Janet M. Shoup of Daytona, Florida, Dorothy I. Tarr of Vancouver, Washington, and Kathy Kidwell of Phoenix, Arizona; and many beloved nieces and nephews.   Deceased is a granddaughter, Tracy Lee Crowe.   Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, January 19th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.  Private burial will be held in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, at a later date.
