Joseph Franklin Crouse Sr., 60 of Washington, died on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in his home.
He was born on March 19, 1956, in Roaring Springs, PA, a son of the late James Millard Crouse and Marilee Rodgers Crouse.
Joseph was a long-distance truck driver.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and loved animals and reading. He was a kind, generous man, who helped everyone, and loved to make people laugh.
In 1975, he married Gloria Lowicki, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Joseph Franklin Crouse Jr., of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Melissa Crouse of Burgettstown, and Marilee (Stephen) Joseph of Pittsburgh; a brother, James Wilson (Eileen) Crouse of Virginia; two sisters, Mary Ann Jesse of Burgettstown and Sheryl (Franklin) Hendricks of NC; seven grandchildren, George Crouse, Victoria Crouse, Joseph Franklin Crouse III, Zachary Crouse, Trevor Joseph, Jessica Davis, and Katelynn Davis.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 from 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301.
