Joseph Franklin Crouse, Sr.

Joseph Franklin Crouse Sr., 60 of Washington, died on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in his home. He was born on March 19, 1956, in Roaring Springs, PA, a son of the late James Millard Crouse and Marilee Rodgers Crouse. Joseph was a long-distance truck driver. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and loved animals and reading. He was a kind, generous man, who helped everyone, and loved to make people laugh. In 1975, he married Gloria Lowicki, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Joseph Franklin Crouse Jr., of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Melissa Crouse of Burgettstown, and Marilee (Stephen) Joseph of Pittsburgh; a brother, James Wilson (Eileen) Crouse of Virginia; two sisters, Mary Ann Jesse of Burgettstown and Sheryl (Franklin) Hendricks of NC; seven grandchildren, George Crouse, Victoria Crouse, Joseph Franklin Crouse III, Zachary Crouse, Trevor Joseph, Jessica Davis, and Katelynn Davis. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 from 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301.
