Linda Joyce Roupe, 75, of Washington, died Thursday, December 29, 2016, in the Emergency Department of The Washington Hospital. She was born May 11, 1941, in Washington, a daughter of the late Edward Martin Roupe and Genevieve Marie Cole Roupe. Ms. Roupe attended Trinity High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, puzzles, solving Sudoku puzzles, singing, family get-togethers, and taking care of her family. Ms. Roupe was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church. Surviving are a sister, Shirley Joanne Lycett of Buckhannon, West Virginia; a brother-in-law, Ray Noble, Sr., of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are siblings, James Edward “Sonny” Roupe, Sr., and Virginia Lee Noble. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., , Tuesday, January 3rd, with Rev. George Garancosky, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in North Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
