Cherlyn "Sherry" Bristor

Cherlyn “Sherry” Bristor, 72 of Washington, died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Canonsburg Hospital. She was born May 19, 1944 in Waynesburg, the daughter of the late James Clifford Jackson and Ilene Poland Jackson. Sherry was a homemaker and a worked in the food service department at Washington and Jefferson College. She was a member of Lighthouse Community Church. Sherry was an avid pool player and won many trophies and tournaments. She loved animals and spending time with her family. In 1960 she married Patrick Risbin, who died in 1962. In 1967 she married Donald Thomas who died in 1985 and in 1998 she married Arthur Bristor, who died in 2012. Surviving are a brother, Huck Jackson of Washington, a sister, Trudy (Ralph) McAdams of Washington; two grandchildren, Joseph Risbin and Tabitha Risbin Cain; numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Patrick Clifford Risbin and a brother, James Jackson. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lone Pine Cemetery.
