Jessie S. Korowicki

July 12, 1933 — December 12, 2016

This obituary is about the passion of a jolly, loving, and kind-hearted woman. Jessie Stiles Korowicki, 83, born from Andrew Stiles and Vanda Gmrick Stiles, of Coalport Pa, graduated from Lincoln High in Elwood city PA, and living the remainder of her long blessed life in Washington pa, was one of those rare people who had immense passion. She had passion about every place she lived, everyone she met, and every selfless deed she did for so many. She left a legacy of love behind with her husband of 58 years, Casimier Korowicki, her three children, Casimier S. (Gerri Talerico Korowicki) Korowicki, Eva Korowicki-Kelly and Rachel Korowicki, three grandchildren Tara Harps, Colt Beatty, CJ Korowicki and one great grandchild Cameron Boley. She was also a devoted and loving sister to her surviving siblings of Andrew Stiles, and his wife Millie, Lily Mills, Dorothy Anderson, and Betty Rafcez, and husband Henry. She now has been reunited with her deceased brothers, Joe and Shake Stiles, as well as her sister Rella Crofton, in heaven. She has touched many lives in her 83 years of life, whether it be through her love of cooking, decorating, fundraising or countless events through her church. She left them with them her compassion and kindness, with the hopes that all who met her, even it was only one time, would continue sharing her love and selfless deeds. She was a passionate pillar of love and strength for Holy Trinity Polish National Church, beginning with the ladies adoration society, bowling in their league, and countless hours of cooking and coordinating Spaghetti dinners, Turkey Dinners, Holiday Breakfasts, and numerous festivals Washington County hosted, from Bassettown, Washington County Fair and S Bridge Pike days. Her devotion to the church left behind legacies of the Doughnut House and the famous fish fry that still keeps her secret clam chowder recipe as a staple. She helped the homeless and hungry with donating soup every Tuesday, and donating any item she thought they needed or wanted, to Christian Outreach in Washington. She loved devoting her time and compassion with the youth as well. Whether it be making her beloved homemade pizzas, or coaching Taylorstown softball league, she always inspired them to fight hard, play fair, and never give up hope. That is how Jessie spent her last days here with us, fighting the good fight, overcoming health obstacles that left people scratching their heads, until she finally decided to let her good Lord have her on December 12th 2016. She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and remembered most for her passion for loved ones and life. Friends will be received on Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 1 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, December 16, 2016, in Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, 605 N. Hewitt Ave., Washington, PA, with Father Mark Swoger as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity National Catholic Church.
