June B. Leech, 82 of Washington, died Monday, December 5, 2016 at home. She was born May 7, 1934, in Washington, the daughter of the late Logan Beddow and Della Hillberry Beddow. June was a graduate of Trinity High School and was a homemaker. She also worked at Lang’s Department Store and was a partner at Bea and Me Dress Shop. She was a member of Upper Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Washington County Cattlemen’s Association and was involved with 4-H the Washington County Agriculture Days. On January 19, 1956, she married Robert I. Leech Sr., who died October 23, 2008. Surviving are two sons, Robert I. (Laury) Leech Jr. of Washington, Thomas L. (Deborah) Leech of Washington; a daughter, Sharon M. (Scott) Wilkerson of Washington; seven grandchildren, Marissa Leech, Adam (Danielle) Leech, Elisha Leech, Brandon (Megan) Leech, Chasity (Derek) Hoover, Dean and Aaron Casciola; two step grandchildren, Patrick McCulley and Amanda Wilkerson; six great grandchildren, Cael and Reese Hoover, Kayson and Killian Leech, Braygen and Teagan Leech; a brother John Beddow; sister in laws, Caroline Beddow and Joan Beddow and Caroline Leech Jones. Deceased are two brothers, Clarence Beddow and Logan Beddow; a brother in law, Warren Jones; sister in law, Ruth Beddow. Friends will be received Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, with Pastor Judy Mayer officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Lupus Foundation, 4-h Scholarship Fund, Washington County Cattlemen’s Scholarship and the Upper Buffalo Presbyterian Church or a charity of one’s choice.
