Stanley C. Varner Sr. 52, of Washington, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Donnell House.
He was born July 12, 1964 in Washington, the son of the late Stanley C. Varner and Janet Morris Varner.
Stanley worked as a cook for many years and in maintenance at Ross Mould Inc.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and baking, especially putting up jam and preserves.
He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sons, Stanley C. Varner Jr. of Washington, Richard (Amanda) Johnson of Washington; three daughters, Desera Johnson of Washington, Kimberly (Aaron) Johnson of Washington, Ginger (Ron) Strope of Washington; three sisters, Zelda Pirt, Linda Ann Young and Teresa Russell, all of Washington; eight grandchildren, Jazmyne, Jayden, Ayriel, who he called Peanut, Nalla, who he called Munchkin, Joseph, Sheridan, Savannah and Siearra; a niece and two nephews.
All services are private and have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
