Edna Audree Bloch

Edna Audree Bloch, 84, of Bridgeville, died on Thursday, November 24, 2016, in Bridgeville Rehabilitation and Care Center. She had been in declining health. She was born on November 11, 1932, in Lawrence, PA, a daughter of the late George Henry Block, Jr., and Audra Naomi McConnell Block. Ms. Bloch had worked as a clerical supervisor, at Interform Corporation, in Bridgeville. A graduate of Cecil High School, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Canonsburg. Edna was a very private person who loved her family, and enjoyed reading, art, music, children, animals, golf, and all things Irish. Surviving are a brother, George (Pat) Block, III, of Eighty-Four; a niece, Kathy (Michael) Ward, of Washington; a nephew, Patrick (Shelly) Block, of Washington; and 5 great nieces and nephews, Douglas (Hiromi) Byrd, Jennifer (Nick) Bickel, Christopher Block, Jessica Block, and James Ward. Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, from 11 to 1 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, with Pastor Janet Scott Mace officiating. Burial will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
