Joseph Samuel Work

Joseph Samuel Work, 55, of Washington, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2016, in UPMC, Mercy Hospital. He was born on July 27, 1961, a son of the late Theodore Glenn and Margaret Sauers Work. Joseph attended Trinity Schools. Mr. Work had worked as a construction equipment operator for more than twenty years, at Tarbuck Paving Company. A favorite pastime was working on cars, and spending time outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting. Surviving are a son, A.J. Work, of Washington; a daughter, Dana (Christopher) Hamel, of Muse; four brothers, Theodore G. Work, Jr., of New Stanton, Charles T. Work, of Washington, John A. Work, of Washington, and Lloyd S. (Marsha) Work, of Marianna, a sister, Leona A. (Barry) Klages, of Amity; and two grandchildren, Alexis and Christopher “C.J.” Friends will be received on Monday, November 14, 2016, from 4 to 7 p.m., the time of services, in the William G.
