Janet M. Smith

Janet M. Smith née Organ, formerly of McMurray PA, passed peacefully in Meriden, Connecticut, on Sunday, October 16, 2016.   She was preceded in death by Clarence Smith, her husband of 64 years; her brother David Organ; and her twin sister Janice Weaver.    She is survived by her sister Judy Edgar of Waynesburg PA; two daughters Deborah (William) Hamilton and Barbra Pauley; and a son Mark Smith. Additional survivors include six grandchildren, Brad, Chad, Brian, and Lucas Hamilton, Kelly Hunter, and Tara Smith, along with ten great grandchildren.   Janet's health had been declining for several years but she passed quickly and quietly, as she had hoped.   Friends will be received from 9 till 11 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, October 22nd, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.  Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
