Rose Marie Sargent, 83 of Washington, passed from this world, Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Donnell House.
She was born June 21, 1933 in Washington, the daughter of the late Pete Folio and Julia Kabuchi Folio.
Rose was a graduate of Washington High School and worked for 20 years for Beneficial Finance, leaving to devote herself to her husband and their marriage.
Rose was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and was the first women to join the Immaculate Conception Church Choir after Vatican 2 in 1965, where she remained a member until recent health reasons kept her from participating.
She loved her Church, Music, Choir, quilting, scrap booking and greeting cards and especially loved people.
On October 2, 1972, she married Ralph Sargent, who preceded her in death. He was her friend, love and true soul mate.
She is survived by many family and friends with whom she has left an indelible mark.
Deceased is a sister, Rita Yancosek.
Friends will be received Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, October 21, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, with Father William Feeney as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Washington Mausoleum.
