Larry Wade Shriver, 74 of Washington, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Washington Hospital.
He was born January 1, 1942 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Willis and Margaret Stoller Shriver.
Larry was a 1961 graduate of McGuffey High School and was veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was the owner of Larry Shriver Co., a heavy equipment company for 34 years.
Larry enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed flying model airplanes and driving his 1968 GTO.
On February 26, 1968, he married Jeannie Pritchard, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jeffrey (Julie) Shriver of Topton, PA; a daughter, Kristall (Jason) Moninger of Washington; two brothers, Joseph (Donna) Shriver of Avella and Gerald (Ruth) Shriver of Claysville; a granddaughter, Audrina Shriver; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four brothers, Willis, Duane, Donald and Gene Shriver.
Friends will be received Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bruce Graff officiating.
