Scott A. Barnes, 55 of Graysville, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at home.
He was born February 10, 1961 in New Castle, the son of the late Chalmers “Butch” Barnes Jr. and Phyllis Laverty Barnes and his step mother Ilene M. Baldouf Barnes of Graysville.
Scott was a painter for Spence Painting in Washington.
He was a member of the Keystone Baptist Church.
He was a musician for his father’s and families band, the Outlawed Country Band
.
On August 26, 2002, he married Deanna Harris, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Shawn (Stephanie) Barnes of Graysville, Jabri Al-Refai of Arlington, TX; two daughters Brittany Barnes of Moundsville, WV, Jabria (Nasser Khasib) Al-Refai of Mansfield, TX;, four brothers, Carl T. (Kimberley) Barnes of Blaine, OH, Bill D. (Sharmon) Barnes of Graysville, Jamie Barnes of Hubbard, OH and Chalmers “Butch” (Roxanne) Barnes III of Mt. Pleasant, OH; three sisters, Cindy Lee Laux of Graysville, Debbie (Jim) Lawrence of Hartzell, AL and Kathy (David) Spence of Washington; six grandchildren, Ashton and Emma Barnes and Sara, Sammy, Deanna and Alex Al-Refai; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rick Kauffman officiating. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens in Wheeling, WV. Those attending should meet at the cemetery.
