George E. Failinger, 81, of Washington, died on Friday, September 30, 2016, in Transitions Health Care.
He was born on July 26, 1935, in Washington, a son of Clayton and Esther Inks Failinger.
A graduate of Trinity High School, he had worked for thirty years at Brockway Glass.
Mr. Failinger was a veteran of the United States Army.
George enjoyed golf, swimming at Sunset Beach, and bowling, having been a member of several leagues at the Alpine Lanes.
His wife, Dolores Harmon, died in 1994.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Debra (Roger) Spalding, of Washington; two grandchildren, Kielly (David) Carroll, and Chase (Cecelia) Spalding; four great grandchildren, Zoie, Ava, and Mila Carroll, and Colton Spalding; and eight nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Clayton Failinger, and two sisters, Mary Alice McClure, and Gladys Hanf.
Friends will be received on Friday, from 11 to 1:00 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
