Rhoda Lynn Malone, 40, of Canonsburg died Friday, September 9, 2016, in an automobile accident in Clarksburg, West Virginia while traveling for a Christian Outreach program.
She was born on February 6, 1976, in Vineland, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Irene Ruth Schulz.
Her life was dedicated to serving Jesus Christ, her savior and Lord. Expanding the Kingdom of God by spreading the good news of her living, risen savior was her primary objective in life. She worked for Revival Today, performing with excellence in missions and evangelical ministries and volunteered in many ministries at Champion Christian Center in Canonsburg and Central Assembly of God in Houston.
Rhoda was a Holy Spirit filled power-house, who lived out John 15:13. She loved to start her day with the Bible, devotions, prayer, and coffee.
This proud Mom of four used all of her kindness, strength, generosity, and love to raise her children and pour into any other young people that were around. Rhoda passionately cared for her daughter, Irene Ruth Malone (age 6), who was named for her grandmother, Irene Ruth Schulz who died on January 6, 2001; her son, Xavier Leonidas Malone who died at birth on June 26, 2009; and stepsons, R. Logan Malone (age 13) and Graham C. Malone (age 16). Rhoda was called a true Proverbs 31 woman by her husband, Robert David Malone, whom she married on July 12, 2008. He took great joy in her fantastic smile and awesome sense of humor.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and children, is a large, extended family including her in-laws, Cindy and Denny Malone of Washington.
Rhoda was a bold, protective, giving woman who loved to bake, hunt, craft, and garden. In addition, she enjoyed archery, firearms shooting, playing the violin, and riding motorcycles.
She was often seen with the youth from her church, Champion Christian Center, singing, soul-winning, performing outreach, and playing Pokemon Go around Canonsburg.
She reached out to all she encountered in genuine love and compassion.
