Raymond A. Mikuta, 78, of Washington, died Monday, August 22, 2016, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington. He was born March 20, 1938, in Washington, a son of the late Raymond J. and Joanna Kruczek Mikuta. Mr. Mikuta served in the Army from September 19, 1961, until his honorable discharge on September 18, 1963, with a rank of Specialist, 4th class. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Mr. Mikuta retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Pittsburgh. He was a Pittsburgh sports fan, an avid reader, enjoyed movies, and was interested in history. He loved family gatherings, especially during the Christmas holidays. Surviving are a brother, Bernard (the late Carol) Mikuta of Washington; nieces, Christine Mikuta and Janet (Albert) Aloia; a great-nephew, Kent (Esther) Aloia; and a great-niece, Julie (Joshua) Pace, and their daughter, Brielle Pace. There will be no public visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 25th in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
