Frank L, Baker 91, of Washington, died Thursday, August 18, 2016, following a fall two weeks prior. He was born April 3, 1925 in Milroy, PA, the son of the late Fred Lubiah and Susanna Katharyn Civitts Baker. He attended school in Milroy and served in the Army during WWII. He worked as a journeyman lineman for the Ohio Power Co. for a number of years and retired from IBEW Local 126 in 1989. He worked for GG & C Bus Co. retiring from there in 2004. He married Hazel Marie Stitt, who is deceased. In 1976, he married Janice Lee Killen, who survives. He was an active member of the Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church, serving in many capacities over the years. His interests were varied. Surviving are twin daughters, Dr. Janna Elizabeth (Robert) Rogers of Finleyville and Julie Amanda (Thomas) Dickinson of Middlefield, CT; a son, Frank L. (Peg) Baker Jr. of Carlisle, PA; a daughter, Barbara Ann of TX; four grandchildren, Lisa Marie (Chris) Gardiner of Hookstown, PA, Scott Lee (Melissa) Baker of Wichita, KS, James William “Bill” Anderson of Ohio and Sean L. Anderson of TX; five great grandchildren, Derek and Katey Gardiner, Hanna, Gideon and Gyllian Anderson; a brother, Robert J. (Lucy) Baker of McClure, PA; a sister Ellen F. (James) Miller of McVeytown; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are his identical twin brother, Fred L. Baker; a brother John L. Baker; three sisters, Jeanette M. Hunter Skopic, Betty J. Houser and Helen K. Allenbaugh (twin to Ellen Miller). Friends will be received Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ross Pryor officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church
