Danny Lee Winters

Danny L. Winters, 61, of Washington, formerly of Claysville, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, in his home. He was born on October 26, 1954, in Washington, a son of the late Donald R. and Wilma Jean Grimes Winters. Danny was a 1972 graduate of McGuffey High School. He was a member of the Claysville Lodge, No 0447 F&A.M. of PA. Prior to his retirement, due to health issues, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Union Local 18, Ohio Operating Engineers. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. On January 20, 1989, he married Sharon Conaway, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Billy Winters, of Brandon, FL; Steven (Erin) Winters, of Roanoke, VA; and Danny R. Winters, of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Stacie Dziak, of Wilmington, NC; seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Brianna, and Mason Winters; and Cami, Heidi, Luke, and James Dziak; a niece, Tamara Winters Hoyt, of MS, and a nephew, James Rodgers, of Australia. Deceased are his stepfather, Arthur Gaddy, and a brother, Donald R. Winters. Friends will be received on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes., Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
