Tanya R. Nordmark

Tanya R. Nordmark, 44, of Amity, died Saturday, August 6, 2016, in Donnell Hospice House, following an 11-year illness. She was born August 21, 1971, in Washington, a daughter of Ursoline Angott McGary of West Alexander and the late Donald W. McGary. A 1989 graduate of Trinity High School, Tanya graduated from Uniontown Beauty Academy and worked as a nail technician at various locations. She also worked in the private security field for several years. Tanya enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, crocheting, sewing and decorating her home. She was Catholic by faith. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Bruce Nordmark of Uniontown; three sons, Scott William Nordmark, Corey Stewart Nordmark and Noah Blake Nordmark; a brother, Donald A. McGary of West Alexander; a sister, Kathy L. Megyesy of Washington; and her companion, Ed J. Roth. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 9th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
