Denise Renee Ellis

Denise Renee Ellis, 45 of Washington, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at home. She was born March 19, 1971 in Washington, the daughter of Grace E. Ellis of Washington and the late Dave McCormick. Denise was a graduate of Washington High School and worked as an attendant at Safe Haven. Surviving are a son, Demetrius Ellis of Washington; two daughters, Quintaya Ellis of Washington and Kiona Duke of Washington; three sisters, Teri Lyn Ellis of KY, Jamela Fitzgerald of Washington and Tamika (Damon) Sykes of Brownsville; six grandchildren, Kylisa Pape, Dae`mere Ellis, Zaivian Ellis, Jamarion Fitzgerald, Anthony Ellis, and Kadeem Hayes; nieces, Beverly Porter, T`ona Porter, To`Nisha Porter, Alicia Peterson and her daughter Alayna; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 10th, from 2 till 3 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m.
