Ruth Mary Micco

Ruth Mary Micco, 101, of Washington, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, in Transitions Healthcare. She was born on September 30, 1914, in New Castle, PA, a daughter of the late Samuel and Sundrena Jackamo Crisci. She was Roman Catholic by faith. Ruth had worked as a proof reader of insurance policies for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and, with her husband, owned and operated Mick’s Service Station, in New Castle, before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mrs. Micco had been married to Andrew John Micco, until his death on February 22, 1999. Surviving are a son, John Andrew (Elaine) Micco, of Washington; three grandchildren, Kara (David) White, Romy (Scott) Wightman, and Andrew (Veronica) Micco; two step grandchildren, Erin (Jon) Weston, and Lori (Shawn) Areford; and twelve great grandchildren. Deceased are a sister, Vera Venturell, and a brother, Samuel J. Crisci. Burial and services will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
