Clare Weaver Debbis, 94, of Washington, died Saturday, June 4, 2016, in her home.
She was born July 7, 1921, in Washington, a daughter of Arley B. and Effie C. Daugherty Weaver.
A 1939 graduate of Washington High School, Mrs. Debbis retired from Star Dynamics, where she had worked as a secretary.
She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with family.
Mrs. Debbis was formerly a member of Third United Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Surviving are a daughter, Darla Debbis Doak; one grandchild; eight great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are a grandson, Scott Kestner; four brothers, Paul, Ralph, Keith and Carol; and two sisters, Lois Cain and Ruth Scholl.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 18th, in Living Stone Community Church, 265A North Avenue, Washington. (The church is located in the basement of the synagogue. Follow the driveway to the parking lot and church entrance at the rear of the building.)
