Polly Longdon, 86, of Washington, passed away on May 31, 2016, after a brief hospitalization.
She was born to the late Estelle and Luther Peacock in Washington on December 26, 1929.
On October 10, 1964, in Greensburg, she married Glenn Longdon, who passed away on July 10, 1999.
Surviving are her children, Glenn “Skip” (Kim) Longdon Jr. of Washington, Garth Longdon of Burke, Virginia and Gail (Jim) Paboucek of Weirton, West Virginia; grandsons, Kris (Kara) Longdon and Daniel Longdon, both of San Jose, California, Wesley (Brittany) Longdon of Pittsburgh and Travis (Shannon) Longdon of Scenery Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Anne Baadsgaard; a brother, David Peacock; and a son, Gary Longdon.
Polly worked for the FBI and retired from Bell Telephone as a secretary. She was an avid golfer and loved spending time with her golfing friends. She also enjoyed going to the casino and reading.
A memorial visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 3rd.
