Rev. Hugh “Butch” Lee Wallace III, of Washington passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016. He was born May 16, 1953 in Youngstown, OH, the son of Hugh “Jack” and Rose Marie Jemison Wallace . On July 18,1991 he married Rochele Evans, who survives. He was a graduate of the Rayan High School in Youngstown, OH, as well as The Computer Learning Center in Monroeville. Although he started his career as a journeyman boilermaker, he later became a certified network administrator with Washington County Health Partner, until his health forced retirement. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Canonsburg, where he was ordained March 23, 2003. Butch loved spending time with his family, reading and playing golf with his son and grandson. He loved music and was an avid movie goer, and sports fan. He also loved the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Football teams. In addition to his wife, also surviving are two sons, Hugh (Louanne) Wallace IV and Steven Wallace both of Canonsburg; two daughters, Portia Wallace of Pittsburgh and Victoria (Derrick) Meades of Carnegie; three grandchildren, Shaelynn and Tatem Wallace, Crystal Bender; three great grandchildren; four brothers, Michael Wallace of Gerard, OH, Anthony Wallace of Youngstown; Timothy Wallace of Youngstown, Stephen (Vanessa) Wallace of Teaneck, NJ He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joseph Dillard and a stepson, Carlton Traylor Jr. Friends will be received Friday, June 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 120 Greenside Ave, Canonsburg, where additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. the time of service with Rev. Harold Cotton III. Both the visitation and service will be conducted at the church for which Rev. Anita Lovell is pastor.
