Donald Richard White, 67, of Washington, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, in his home. He was born March 6, 1949, in Washington, a son of the late Jack D. White and Mary J. Piacenzia White. Mr. White graduated from Trinity High School in 1967. He was self-employed at Don White Auto Sales. Mr. White was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Claysville, the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Pulaski, Polish and Alpine Clubs. He loved riding his 2006 Harley Super Glide, driving his ’69 Nova, spending time with his two little grandsons and his garage cat, Scrounge. On October 28, 1978, he married Denise Baumgartner, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Amanda (Dan) Mankey of Washington; a brother, Kenneth (Mary Lou) White of Washington; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Waylon Mankey; and many good friends. Friends will be received on Friday from Noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at Noon on Saturday, May 28th, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
