John Lee Stark

John Lee Stark, 71, of Washington, died on Saturday, May 21, 2016, in his home. He was born on January 7, 1945, a son of the late Albert and Brookies Lowery Stark. A graduate of Milton Hershey School, he worked for the Baltimore Sun Newspaper. Mr. Stark served in the Air Force from February 11, 1965, until his honorable discharge on December 2, 1968, with a rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Air Force Good Conduct Medal. On November 9, 1974, he married Letitia Louise Simpson, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Stark, of Washington, and a half sister, Karen Stark. Deceased is his twin brother, Charles Stark. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2016, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
