Kenneth "Moe" Shrader, 74, of Washington, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, surrounded by his family in the Washington Hospital, following a nine-month illness.
Born August 12, 1941, he was a son of the late William and Anna Shrader.
Mr. Shrader was employed by Washington Penn Plastic for 25 years. He enjoyed riding quads, working on tractors, being retired and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved his church family and was a member of Trinity Bible Fellowship for 25 years. His best friend Fuzzy, his dog, will really miss his pal.
On March 27, 1971, he married Jo Anne Elizabeth McCartney, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa Kimenski (David) and Kimberly Shrader, both of Washington; two brothers, Clarence Shrader of Washington and Frank Shrader (Sally) of Prosperity; a sister, Ruth Durbin of Washington; three grandchildren, Allison Snoke (Stephen) of Avella, Jimmy Brach and Austin Kimenski, both of Washington; two great-grandchildren, Ava Snoke and Roman Kenneth Snoke; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are five brothers, Fred, George, Bill, Charlie and Louis; and a sister, Mary Durbin.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m., the time of service, on Saturday, May 7th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Michael Roach officiating.
