Sarah Ann Broad

Sarah Ann Broad, 81, of Washington, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, in Transitions Health Care, formerly Humbert Lane Health Care.. She was born February 26, 1935, in Oakdale, a daughter of Carl and Susan Nelson Conn. Mrs. Broad worked at the Washington Hospital in the housekeeping department. On May 14, 1955, she married William J. Broad, Jr., who died March 7, 2013. Surviving are a son, Dennis Broad of Washington, and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, William Conn, and two sisters, Doris Paquet and Mary Eileen Conn. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 29th, in Forest Lawn Gardens, 3739 Washington Road, McMurray, with Rev. Michael Roach officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
