John P. “Head” Molinaro Sr., 73 of Washington, died unexpectedly, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at home.
He was born August 13, 1942 in Washington, the son of Pete A. Molinaro of Washington and the late Betty Deprosky Molinaro.
John was a graduate of Trinity High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He worked at Jessop Steel and was the Director of Security for Glosser Brothers Department Stores.
John was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the 1955 Pony League World Series Championship Team.
His life was devoted to his family and he enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.
John is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Ann Pavella Molinaro. his children, John P. (Donna) Molinaro II, Beth Ann Hodges, Michael J. (Rebecca) Molinaro, Lisa M. (Jerry) Benard; a nephew, Roger L. (Angie) Fisher, Jr.; nine grandchildren, Chablis, J. P., Holly, Dominique, Chance, Dillon, Zachary, Katerina, Michael Jr.; three great grandchildren, Kennedy, Charlie, Jameson.
Also surviving are the many family and friends whose lives he influenced and will forever remember him as “Johnny Buck”.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Moose, 2021 W. Chestnut St., Washington, PA. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
