Kenneth L. Sprowls

Kenneth L. Sprowls of Washington, PA passed away at home on April 6, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kenneth was born September 10, 1936, in Waynesburg, the son of the late Kenneth Leo Sprowls and Sarah Elizabeth Walker Sprowls. On November 8, 1957, he married Rebecca “Becky” Walker Sprowls who survives. They enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. Surviving are his children, Keith D. (Ginger) Sprowls of Marietta, GA, Jeffery S. Sprowls of Washington, PA, Michael J. Sprowls of Monroeville, PA, Paula L. (Matthew) Sprowls Striner of Stow, OH, his two beloved grandchildren, Andrew Evan Striner and Abigail Rose Striner of Stow, OH. Kenny is also survived by his sister, Shirley Sprowls Hartzell of Clymer, PA. Kenny retired in 1999 from West Tire Co. after 24 years of service. He came out of retirement in 2007 & became a driver for Curtis Long Term Care Pharmacy, retiring again in 2015. Kenny most enjoyed spending time with his family, his guitar, his computer & going on Caribbean Cruises with his wife Becky. Friends & family will be received from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd, 925 Allison Ave. Washington, and from 10:00am to 12:00pm, the time of services on Monday, April 11, 2016, with Rev. Mary Sprowls officiating. Interment will follow in West Finley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donnell House, Hospice Care of Washington Health System, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
