Matthew Daniel Willhoft, 47, of Claysville, died on Sunday, March 27, 2016, in his home.
He was born on January 24, 1969, in Washington, a son of Mary Durila Willhoft, and the late Joseph Robert Willhoft.
He had attended Avella High School, and had worked as a landscaper.
Among his many interests, he enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and the outdoors.
Surviving are his longtime companion, Tonya Reese; a son, Craig Willhoft, of Burgettstown; four daughters, Ashley (William) Wheeler, of Washington, Alissa (Cliff) Moore, of Washington, Amanda (Melvin) Ringer, of Washington, and Abby (Glenn) McMasters, of West Finley; four brothers, Michael Willhoft, his twin brother, of Avella, Joseph (Joann) Willhoft, of Washington, Richard (Ida) Willhoft, of Avella, George (Lois) Willhoft, of Avella; four sisters, Viola (Richard) Post, of Avella, Barbara (William) Sweeney, of Carmichaels, Linda (Gerald) Orum, of Claysville, and Cheryl (Frank) Willhoft, of Washington; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, William and Grover Willhoft.
Friends will be received on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2016.
Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery.
