Kenneth Lee Pryor, 83, of West Alexander, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in County Home Personal Care, Bentleyville.
He was born August 26, 1932, in Washington, a son of the late Guy Pryor and Edith Parker Pryor.
A graduate of Hickory High School, Mr. Pryor served in the Army during the Korea War Era and earned a National Defense Service Medal.
He worked in cooling and heating for Stanton Systems.
Mr. Pryor was a member of American Legion Hunt-Kennedy Post 639, Claysville, and the Washington County Flyers Club.
He attended Lighthouse Community Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandy (Bruce) Smith of Washington; two brothers, Walter (Peggy) Pryor of Washington and Wayne (Eilovel) Pryor of Michigan; four grandchildren, Courtney (Johnny) Pierson of Elm Grove, West Virginia, Bruce Aaron Smith of Washington, Kevin (Jessica) Bowlen of Georgia and Sarah Bowlen of Indiana; and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are his wife, Janet J. Wood Pryor; a daughter, Linda Bowlen; and two brothers, Melvin and Wendal Pryor.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12th, with Rev. Duane Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded graveside by American Legion Hunt-Kennedy Post 639. Memorial contributions may be made to County Home Personal Care, 915 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314.
