Caren Marie Mcbane

Caren Marie McBane, 53 of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at home. She was born August 25, 1962 in McKees Rocks, the daughter of Carl D. McBane of Prosperity and the late Nancy Wilson McBane. Caren graduated from Stowe Rocks High School and Slippery Rock University. She enjoyed canoeing, hiking and the outdoors. Caren was Catholic by faith. Surviving in addition to her father are two brothers, Carl (Julie) McBane of McKees Rocks, Michael (Kimberly) McBane of Avella; two sisters, Collen (Albert) Mayowski of McKees Rocks and Christine (Daniel) Cassidy of Avella; numerous nieces and nephews; one great niece and one great nephew. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 from 2 to 6 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Memorial donations can be made to Wildlife Conservancy, No-Kill Shelters and National Parks.
