James Wilburt Prosser, 75, of Washington, died on Monday, February 22, 2016, in his home.
He was born on May 17, 1940, in Washington, a son of the late James Henry and Edith Pearl Hayes Prosser,
Mr. Prosser had worked as a welder at Tri-State Machine, for nine years.
He was a member of the Polish Club, and the VFW Post 927, in Washington.
On December 30, 1961, he married Janet Louise Hutter Prosser, who died on February 21, 2015.
Surviving are a son, James (Rose Mary) Prosser, of Washington; a daughter, Marcie (Kevin) Adams, of Washington; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Prosser; six grandchildren, Julia (Kyle) Winters, James (Bobbi Jo) Prosser, II, Jannah Adams, Michael Prosser, II, Matthew Prosser, and Brandon Prosser; and seven great grandchildren, Morgan, Kyle, and Kamryn Winters, and Cody, Alexia, James, and Sadie Prosser.
Deceased are a son, Michael Prosser, and four sisters, Lauretta Dillie, Shirley Ringer, Violet Keener, and Betty Anderson.
Memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, February 27th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Ron Ringer officiating. Inurnment to follow in Washington Cemetery.
