Lucille Elizabeth Mendicino

Lucille Elizabeth Mendicino, 93 of Washington, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Washington County Health Center. She was born March 28, 1922 in Washington the daughter of the late Gaetana Magnetta Pulice. Lucille was a homemaker and a great cook. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. In February of 1948 she married Joseph J. Mendicino, who died January 9, 2002. Surviving are a son, Frank W. (Sandy) Mendicino of Washington; a daughter, Ida M. (Chuck) Anderson of Houston; three grandchildren, Michael Medicino of Washington, Julie Mendicino of Washington and Brian Anderson of Houston. Deceased are three brothers, Angelo Pulice, John Scalzi and Sam Scalzo; three sisters, Angeline Toth, Louise Urso and Rose Tiano. Friends will be received Tuesday, February 16, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where a Blessing service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
