Anna May Yarbor, 84 was born February 10, 1931 in Burgettstown and the Lord Dispatched his angel of Mercy to gently close her eyes and grant everlasting peace on February 1, 2016 in Washington, after a lengthy illness and hard fought battle.
With fond recollections and memories, she leaves to cherish her memory, four of her children, daughters; Carla Yarbor Payne and Andrea Yarbor of Fresno, CA, Apryl Yarbor of Tracy, CA and Rodney Yarbor and wife Leslie of Washington; grandsons, Aaron and Marcus Payne; granddaughter, Alycia Yarbor and fiancé, Michael Hildebrand and great grandson, Kayden Hildebrand, as well as family pets, Waldo, Buddy and Ms. Addie. Also cherishing Anna May’s memories are many extended family members and beloved friends.
Anna May was predeceased by her husband, Ulysses; son, Ronald “Kiddie” and daughter Gayle.
Anna May was a graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown in 1949. She went on to live and work in Washington for many years, including J.C. Penneys, Superior Valve Company and RCA. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Washington.
She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, watching favorite TV shows (especially The Price is Right!) and going to the casino.
Friends will be received Friday, February 5, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 15 E. Walnut St, Washington with Rev. Richard White officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.
