Olive Gertrude Heath Toland, 94, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, formerly of Claysville, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, in Eastern Star Nursing Home, Mt. Vernon.
She was born February 21, 1921, in Moundsville, West Virginia, a daughter of George W. Heath and Pearl Lilley Heath.
Mrs. Toland was a homemaker and member of Roadside Chapel, Claysville.
On April 29, 1939, she married Jesse Toland, who died November 7, 1982.
Surviving are three sons, Herman (Tish) Toland, Gaylord (Kathy) Toland and Raymond (Sue) Toland; a daughter, Donna Miles, all of Claysville; 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are three sons, Bob Toland, Donald Conaway and Charles Conaway; two daughters, Connie Endsley and Eileen Toland; six brothers, Beryl, Marritt, Floyd, Ronald, Paul and Ensal; and seven sisters, Catherine Heath, Dorothy Heath, Elsie Richey, Frances Heath, Laura Heath, Grace Heath, and Ethel Shaffer.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 3rd, with Rev. Mary Sprowls officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, West Virginia.
