Ralph James Kennedy, 65, of Washington, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in Presbyterian Senior Care.
He was born October 12, 1950, a son of the late Minor Newton Kennedy and Alberta May Cooper Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy worked as a steel worker at Jessop Steel and attended Wolfdale Bible Chapel. He enjoyed boating and skiing and loved to travel.
On November 29, 1986, he married Linda Fretz McIntyre, who died April 9, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Amy Kennedy of Washington and Kelly (Wayne) Toland of Prosperity; a son, Freedom Greely; two brothers, Bill (Dorothy) Kennedy of Carmichaels and Abe (Nancy) Kennedy of Washington, DC; five grandchildren, Dalton Toland, Britney Toland, Kyle Caldwell, Tyree King and Tashina King.
Deceased is a brother, Floyd Kennedy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, January 29th, with Rev. Fred Helmick officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
