Ruth Cundall Hamilton, 85, of Washington, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at her residence in Hawthorne Woods.
She was born June 21, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of the late Willard G. Cundall and Elizabeth Evans Cundall.
Mrs. Hamilton graduated from Trinity High School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the former Third United Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir for 60 years. In addition, she was a 50-year member and past worthy matron of Eastern Star Martha V. Paul Chapter 404.
On September 15, 1956, she married Alexander Hamilton, who died October 20, 2009.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah R. Chappel of Pittsburgh, and a son, Matthew A. Hamilton of Philadelphia.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 15th, with Pastor Judy Mayer officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Buffalo Cemetery. An Eastern Star service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
