Virginia Lee Carl

Virginia Lee Scott Carl, 82, of Washington, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in Golden Living Center, Canonsburg. She was born September 22, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of the late Anna McDaid. A homemaker, Mrs. Carl loved cooking, attending family reunions, spending time with family, and going out to eat. Surviving are her husband, Melvin Arnold Carl, Sr.; a son, Melvin A. Carl, Jr. of Washington; a daughter, Mary Ann Crawford (Jay, Sr.) of Eldersville; and a step grandson, Jay Crawford, Jr., of Washington. Friends will be received on Friday, January 15th, from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory, will be held at the convenience of the family.
